John A. Diercks, ARM, CIC

John Diercks has been in the insurance industry since 1987 when he started his career with Hanover Insurance Company. He then worked for William Gallagher Associates until 1996 when he joined Sullivan Group as a Principal and co-lead of the life sciences practice.

John specializes in the life science and technology industries where he applies his vast expertise in creating/monitoring global insurance and risk management programs for life science firms, public and private, of all sizes. John works with D&O Liability (incl. IPO), Products/Clinical Trials Liability, Foreign Local Placements, and Property/General Liability coverage for this clients.

He has been very active in his community, volunteering in Hopkinton Youth Sports. He has served as a vestry member of his church, a Member of the Board of Directors of Hopkinton Youth Basketball, and as a coach for football, baseball, basketball, and soccer.

He is also a past member of Medmarc’s Broker Advisory Counsel.

John holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) as well as the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. He received his Bachelor of Science from UMass Amherst.
