John is the Lead Life Science Principal and Co-Leader of EMRF Practice at Sullivan Group.
Before joining the Sullivan Group as Vice President and Agency Principal in 1996, John had worked for both the Hanover Insurance Companies and William Gallagher Associates. He came to Sullivan Group to co-found the firm's new Emerging Markets Risk Finance and Technology Services Practices. During his career he has counted as clients numerous emerging technology firms, including Organogenesis, Cubist Pharmaceuticals, Alkermes, Dyax Corp., ViaCell, CombinatoRx, Elixir Pharmaceuticals, I-Logix and American Superconductor Corporation.
A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, John is one of seven members who serve on the Broker Advisory Council to the Medmarc Insurance Companies, a premier provider of Product Liability Insurance to the Life Science industries. John also has attained both the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations.
