Fran brings over 20 years of industry experience to the organization. He is a business insurance specialist with expertise in both the Property Casualty and Employee Benefits arena.
Prior to joining the Sullivan Group as a partner in 1989, Mr. Shea had worked for a national insurance brokerage firm in Boston. He received a Bachelor of Science from Boston College, Cum Laude, with a degree in Accounting. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation from The American Institute in Malvern, Pennsylvania. In addition to his CPCU designation Fran is a Licensed Insurance Advisor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Very active in the Community, Fran is a United Way Trustee, has served on the Allocations Executive Committee, Community Cabinet and Chair for a number of panels and campaign. Fran is also a Corporator with the Greater Worcester Community Foundation, a Board member on the Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Fran was formerly the Board Chair for The Washburn House, an Assisted Living Facility. Fran also recently served as the Saint John’s High School Annual Alumni Fund Chair. Fran is also a member of the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of MA and the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of MA.
